This time by next year, I will be so ready for summer. I am going to work my ass off this summer and save all that money. I am going to Camp Woodward next year!!! Camp Woodward is like a Mecca for bmxers. It is heaven on earth. I am so excited to start working that's scary. The cost of the camp alone is $945. It is in Pennslyvania. I know this sounds crazy but is worth it. For one week, I live in an air-conditioned cabin, riding skateparks, and learning new tricks. As a bonus, Camp Woodward doubles as a gymnastics camp. OOOHHH yeah. I may be going out on a limb here, but aren't 99.9% of gymnasts girls? At the camp, they have these foam pits. Foam cubes to be exact. And what you do is, you go off a roll-in, hit the ramp, try your trick, and land in the foam harmlessly. Once you think have the trick down, you try it one the resi box-jump. All a resi box-jump is, is a box-jump covered from the beginning and end of the ramp with a thick, slick, and soft plastic sheet. So if you crash, it doesn't hurt as much. I can't wait to go.
