Today at tennis practice, we had challenge matches. I was able to challenge Ted. It turned out to be pretty difficult, but in the end I won. I nearly killed myself a couple of times. We had to play 2 out of 3 sets. We had to go to the third set. I am so tired. As an added bonus, Brent can't play singles (because of his leg, not the good thing), I am number 6. Brent can only play doubles. That must suck. I feel sorry for him. I hate being injured.

On another note, I am currently becoming interested in making public skateparks in illinois bike-friendly. I contacted an official for a public skatepark in the Chicago area to see why they didn't allow bikes. Their reason:At this time we cannot let bikes in due to the ceiling height on the sides of the building. It doesn't allow enough clearance for the height that bikers get. This , my friend, is a bunch of shit. Even though the ceiling may be low, it doesn't mean bikes can't ride the park. Not letting bikes into public skateparks: this makes me very angry. It is discrimination against us bikers. There are over 7 million bike riders in the US alone. As one of them, I must free a skatepark from being biker non-friendly. Taxpayers' money make those "public" skateparks. While the skateboarders and the in-liners ride the park, us bmxers can only watch. I mean there is nothing more stupid than that. I guess since bike isn't in the word skatepark, they think bikes shouldn't be allowed. "Skatepark" has become a generic term for a ramp facility, just like Kleenex for facial tissues--it's is easy and simple to say. I am here to make a difference
