As it rains lightly and Mr. Osbourne provides some background music, I reflect on Tuesday. What an awesome day. That's an understatement, really. Tuesday, Austin Phelps and I headed up to this skatepark in Decatur. The drive there went nice and smooth. We got to Decatur and we couldn't find the park. We took to driving around trying to find it. We're definitely not in the ghetto. With huge houses and fancy cars up and down the neighborhood, I was easily calmed. We found the entrance to the park in which the skatepark is located. We arrived exactly at 12:30. There were already people riding there. Maybe 7 or 10. A few of them were really great. The skatepark was pretty simple. All in all, it was an awesome experience. I mean I tried some pretty sweet stuff. Austin did pretty good himself. He also got some battle wounds. We didn't get ourselves into trouble. However, a fight almost broke out between these little kids. It was really funny. I didn't really care. I was too busy riding. Nothing really happened. One kid and all of his friends left. The other stayed there. Austin's dad came and picked him up. I don't remember the exact time when Austin left , but I do know that I left at 5:30. So let's tally this up. I rode from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 pm with no real breaks in the scorching heat. For what you ask? For fun, my friend, for fun. I guess I must be crazy. I got home with ease. I ate a feast once I stepped near my refrigerator. After I ate, I took a nice long bath. Usually I take showers, but today I was too sore, stiff, sweaty, and tired to do so. After my bath, I took a hour long nap. I went into Taylorville and hung out. Came home and fell asleep at 3 a.m. I woke up today 1 p.m. My sleeping pattern is so messed up right now. Oh well, I'll fix it later. Right now, I'm happy. All because of a little bike. Funny, eh? We are so easily pleased sometimes, humans in general. I mean give us something we love to death and we will be happy. Whether it be riding bike or pretending to bums, it's all good. And in the words of mister osbourne from his song Diary of A MadMan: Screaming at the window
Watch me die another day
Hopeless situation endless price I have to pay
Sanity now it's beyond me there's no choice
Diary of a madman
Walk the line again today
Entries of confusion
Dear diary I'm here to stay.
Manic depression befriends me
Hear his voice
Sanity now it's beyond me
There's no choice.
A sickened mind and spirit
The mirror tells me lies
Could I mistake myself for someone
Who lives behind my eyes
Will he escape my soul
Or will he live in me
Is he tryin' to get out or tryin' to enter me.
Voices in the darkness
Scream away my mental health
Can I ask a question
To help me save me from myself
Enemies fill up the pages
Are they me
Monday till sunday in stages
